We specialize in transforming untouched land into accessible, ready-to-build lots, all while working closely with local trades and small businesses to stimulate regional growth. Every project is crafted with purpose — to preserve the natural beauty of rural Ontario and create sustainable opportunities for the communities we serve.
And yes — the name Black Forest is a nod to the thick, gorgeous landscapes we love to develop... but also to the fact that everything we do is just a little sweeter. (Because who doesn’t love a good slice of cake?)
A Personal Note from Our President
Having spent every summer growing up at the lake in Muskoka, I developed a deep appreciation for the land, the people, and the peaceful pace of life that makes this region so special. What started as a summer escape has now become home — and the inspiration behind Black Forest Developments.
There’s something sacred about lakeside living — the stillness of the mornings, the space to breathe, and the way nature quietly encourages us to slow down. That sense of spaciousness and serenity is the foundation of a more tranquil, satvic life — and it’s what we aim to share with every property we touch.
This company was born out of a desire to make rural property ownership more approachable, more strategic, and more sustainable — especially for people who share that same dream of building a life in a place they love.
